How many of us truly understand the meaning of love?
Tomorrow, many of us celebrate Mother’s Day. It’s a time to honor those who not only birthed us, but the special woman who nurtured us through life.
In my family, the greatest example of love came from my maternal grandmother. She was a lifelong example of unconditional love.; always caring for the needs of others. I didn’t have to go to Church before I could learn about the love of God. I witnessed it every day in the life of that gracious lady.
In today’s world, we find fear, greed, anger, and even hate. No child is born into this world with such emotions. It was never God’s plan for people to live in an atmosphere of fear and violence.
I pray each of you may find someone in this world who can teach the secret of God’s love. Then, go out and teach it to someone else.” There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” (1 John 4:18)
It’s never too late to grow in love.
