Just got home from shopping at our local Walmart. Instead of using self checkout, I found a checker to help me with the large load of groceries.
I’m sure you’ve all seen checkers who barely look at you. Sometimes the force a smile. But this dear woman welcomed me with laughter and continued conversation. Her face glowed with joy. As I walked away, she called out, “Have a blessed day!” How little she realized, our brief encounter was truly a blessing. May we each remember to share the light of Jesus Christ.
