“I See You!”

How many people in the world feel invisible? The answer may surprise you. Through history, there have been those who are born under the shadow of obscurity:

Those born in poverty, unwanted children, women, and servants are included in the countless number of persons who share this understanding.

Jesus made a special effort to acknowledge such a life. The Samaritan woman went to the well at a time when she was alone. He spoke of hidden feelings, of shame and personal degradation. He offered hope when the world looked away. She ran to share the good news: “He told me everything I ever did.” (John 4:39)
